     Every single time, these buffoons show they are playing an armchair game in the parlor. "Ahp, you lost the last election, I guess that's a final referendum on whether your fascist overtures had any legs at all" like...we are 8 years deep into this specific era, 25ish with generous rounding into a larger epoch...these fucks have only lost ground in the interim with small politically inconsequential victories for future fortunes and footing...

     Don't you understand, they will 'bend the law to their will', but they would never cross over to leaving the law behind entirely.

     No, they'd never do something like that.

     The entire tone of 'Everyone who stormed the capital was just out for a nice walk' is really something. If they had managed to stop the certification that day, does anyone think they would have 'given it back', or accepted anything that didn't conform to what they had decided happened?

     @AnarchoNinaWrites Hrm ... On the one hand: yes, Trump lost in 2020. (Loser, loser, loser!) But on the other hand, Trump needs to be beaten AGAIN. Beaten like a fucking piñata. Because beatings are the only language he understands and he neads to be beaten until he's nothing but a smear of bloody pulp on the road to nowhere, and serves not as president but as a gruesome warning of the fate that awaits all fascists.
