   @tokyo_0 Do you mean an electric kettle? It is not that common in #Brazil households as well. More common where there is not a stove around, as in offices.

   I even know people who have solar panels with plenty of surplus power, but who still use a gas stove to heat water several times a day. Sometimes, even worse, they use a wood-burning stove... 👀️

     @tokyo_0 @daltux Well electric kettles sadly don’t. Ours needs replacing again, this one no longer reliably turns off once boiling 😢

     Maybe an old fashioned kettle and induction hob would last better as an electric option?
