   We watched #MuppetChristmasCarol last night and I am going on record as saying that the lyrics of the musical numbers are empty faff and they drag the rest of the movie down. Lots of Christmas is for the heart but family are the ones you care for at this special time of year. It could have all been generated by GPT3. Paul Williams did a bad job and he should feel bad.

     Yes, even "Marley and Marley". It's a great tune but the lyrics drag like hell. The only interesting part is the risky internal rhyme of "greed" and "need (-y)", "black" and "shack (-les)". But it's not paid off.

     @evan it's like the opposite of nightmare before christmas, where the musical numbers are great and the interludes are mid ;)
