     As long as the decisions are made in the comfort and safety of the Maryland and Virginia suburbs of DC, the idiocracy will continue.
     Only when the feedback loop is complete will there be a change of policy.

     @not_br549 yeah, this is one of the reasons Ukraine's counter offensive didn't work. everything had to go through US first before Ukraine could do anything, Russia saw it all and prepared for it. principal/agent problem but on the national level, US making decisions on behalf of something it doesn't own and taking more risks than it would if it actually experienced any blowback. no skin off their nose if it didn't work.
