   @kegill this is why the GOP hates the 14th amendment. It was the basis to universalize constitutional rights across all states thru the doctrine of incorporation. You cannot very easily take away rights on a national basis, but it becomes much easier if you can do so one state at a time instead.

     A reminder that the #GOP retains control over state legislatures through #gerrymandering and #VoterSuppression. In turn, they retain an outsized influence in the House of Representatives.

     I do not know how those of us in “blue” states can help those of you who are being marginalized, other than $ and moral support. What else can we do?
