     @georgetakei I am descended from two separate Mayflower families. Those people who came here on wooden boats. We are all, every single one of us who is not of Native American heritage, immigrants. The only people who believe that being American means being white, are the bad guys. The guys who Americans have always historically fought in our best moments, those bad guys, are trying redefine what being American means. Our Statue of Liberty asks the planet for its poor and tired immigrants. Our grandparents, who fought the Nazis last time, were all immigrants. The best version of America is the one that invented #startrek, where infinite diversity in infinite combinations is our greatest strength. And where Nazis who want blood purity are our enemies.
