  i saw a video earlier today where they were talking about pythagoras deriving the musical scale from nature. they were then claiming that there was a final note that blocked them from being able to use other keys, but moving the final note created the entire chromatic scale, .. idk they thought the same idea would apply to other things, since other things ultimately work on frequency scales too.
  
  i think a cymatics simulator would be cool but i'd have to figure out how to rig up a thing to actually pulse water in to the funny shapes to study it :blobcatupsidedown:
