   We need a Turing Test to find NPCs

   Only a few people are conscious.

   The rest are just auto-completing mimics that just repeat what their handler told them to say. They are just naturally occurring LLMs.

   Most religions, and political ideologies are all about keeping these NPCs in check, and the conscious people should be free to solve problems affecting their prosperity without being held down by these replicants.

     @unabomber give them 2 news stories that contradict each other. Ask them to tell you which one is true. An NPC will choose the one that fits their world view. A cognatively functional person should be able to point out they are both bullshit.
