   Question if I'm doing it wrong:
   * I have muted some accounts
   * I added some timelines of other servers
   * I still see the posts of those accounts in those timelines

   I thought that I would not see those accounts any more. Or do I have to block them?

     When viewing a remote timeline, you're not authenticated, that's why muted accounts are displayed.

     ahhh Thanks! Maybe 2 followup questions (sorry)
     * Is that limited to muting accounts *only* or does it filter muted words/Hashtags?
     * would blocking work? (I guess no as .. not authenticated)

     - I have to check but muted words should work (public timelines)
     - Yes blocked accounts are also affected
