     @Djeep This made me think of myself (not a recruiter).
     Late this Spring I gave a new iPad Pro to my godson as a college graduation gift.

     Meanwhile for myself around that same time, I went on eBay, bought a ~$200 MacBookAir i7 from 2015, swapped out its drive, and put Arch Linux on it.

     Yesterday's technology tomorrow! 😎
