     This was a great Interview.
     So true: the fediverse and activitypub is a game changer.
     I recognized that when I joined Mastodon in early 2022. Originally I just wanted to look what the protocols is at all.
     But since that I am a proud little monthly Patreon Spender.

     @mike there are two things that I learned from this episode.

     1) @Gargron can't do math like dividing 1.6M by 200,000 in his head. "It's like 4, or 5, I don't know..."

     2) There is someone on the planet even more enthusiastic about ActivityPub than I am.

     Thought his rendition of the story of XMPP was in sync with yours - that the cause of it's death wasn't mainly due to "embrace extend extinguish" issues but to other problems.
