   I have zero faith, but I do certainly hope you people predicting that SCOTUS won't launch the full fash takeover re: this Trump case, are correct.

   I don't think you are, but I would be quite happily for this to be one of those "Nina is such a doomer" moments. I just don't really get why you install a fascist supreme court if it's not to do fascism and Trump is clearly that guy. They don't HAVE another one; I thought they did too, but every other would be Fuhrer has been a flop.

     @AnarchoNinaWrites your under-estimating the vanity of Roberts, the lust for power, and the realization in scotus that there cannot be "two" supreme institutions in a Trump lead government. Even a (weak) democratic presidency assures scotus can drive a more fascist America. A Trumpian one could mean they will be kicked to the curb, and even worse, their project potentially forever stained and becoming discredited by association with him. As Roberts knows well, we still speak of Dead Scott.

     @AnarchoNinaWrites I’m not entirely optimistic but a ruling in Trump’s favor would potentially place the executive branch over the judicial and possibly over the constitution as well. Usually the supreme court doesn’t like to cede power.

     I honestly believe there's a 50/50 chance violence will be necessary to stop the fascists.
