onioncomic.market is just a shitty WordPress site thrown together with near zero knowledge or skill. A noJS version has only just this weekend been created and is now hosted at onionket.com (and a noscript redirect sends visitors there). This will be developed further in future, possibly replacing the existing site entirely.
...though I question the value of them, since the event focuses on people entirely new to the tech, so if they can already access onion sites and eepsites they probably don't need us.
Onionket is more anti-censorship than anonymity per se. An artist with a presence on Pixiv/Twitter/etc already has a compromised identity, but being able to post work in a way that some corpo platform or a cancel mob can't get it taken down is the main benefit here.
@lilianabreeder as for e2ee mail, you're shooting miles over the head of the target audience. Anybody who can successfully navigate GPG is operating on a level above what this event has to offer.
@JapanAnon@lilianabreeder The no JS version is much cleaner and loads much faster I think. The yes JS version seems to be loading resources from Gstatic, which is a Goolag spyware domain that is also used by reCAPTCHA. However, it doesn't seem to be appearing anywhere in the website source code, so I ASSume it's loaded in via NitroCDN, and even then it's just CSS files.
@ryo@lilianabreeder I'm thinking I'll eventually ditch the yes JS version completely and use the noJS version as primary. The only thing I still need the existing domain for is email, at this point.
If you need a multi domain email server, and don't mind the extra bloat, use iRedMail. If you need to save on hardware resources, but only want to use an email server for 1 specific domain name, use the Emailwiz script.
