     @LukeAlmighty Honestly they would never apply this logic to themselves. I can all but guarantee that they think unconditional niceness is a requirement of you and people who they abuse, but not of themselves. A lot of the time these tanks are not retarded, because the people making them know what they're doing, and instead they're actively malignant. They're psychopathic.
     
     Over the last decade or so I've gradually come to the conclusion that mass psychopathy is upon us. But then again I also believe we literally live in hell, so take my opinion for what it is here.

     The world we live in is a prison, literally. It is ruled by the devil, who plays a sort of demiurgic role, and who is hellbent on deceiving us, depriving us of free will, and finding pretexts to find us spiritually unworthy. So in this respect I regard the psychopathic impulse you showed me a couple slivers of in this thread consistent with that. These people are literally demons and should be regarded as such.

     I mean there's a reason I'm a secluded Utah schizo with tons of ammunition and canned rations.

     Well, here comes.es my Atheist side though. I see all the beauty in this world, and it does shine bright through all the pain I went through.

     It is still my one and only life. And the beauty in it is the gift you don't even see in most stories. Because the human mind cannot create a fantasy of kindness and belonging as deep as the one that strikes us here.
