     Holy shit fam I just checked my meter and the quail house said 52 degrees F (like 11 C or something coldish) and shit poor chicks the space heater turned off for some reason. It's never done that.

     Fortunately they had a heat lamp, a heat rock, and a heating pad going so they were ok, but I try to be a more responsible quail parent than that.

     I guess it's good I couldn't sleep after all, in some strange cosmic way. Watching it all unfurl...
