     @Flipboard @mike This is indeed a great list to provide. The issue is, it appears some, if not most/all of these accounts are not verified here on Mastodon.

     This leads to confusion when there are several The Verge accounts on different instances.

     Can we expect all of these accounts to be verified at some point?

     @CliffWade Yes. It also becomes incredibly important from a user experience POV as the same publisher or creator establishes multiple accounts in the fediverse for different purposes. There needs to be a way to unite these and show a user the various "dimensions" of a person/publisher/creator in the fediverse and enable followers for one or more of those dimensions.

     @mike Thank you! That will be hugely beneficial to a lot of users. Verification is important as I stated and I'm sure as you know, as this helps us know which accounts we can or can't trust.
