Evan Prodromou (evan@cosocial.ca)'s status on Monday, 18-Dec-2023 04:21:26 JST Evan Prodromou @anilmc Sure. So, when someone is talking about traumatic lived personal experience, and someone else asks them to make it easy to ignore that experience, it can be insulting and hurtful. Although content warnings are generally a courtesy, it's an open question whether the person who lived through the trauma owes you the courtesy of helping you ignore their trauma. Does that help?

Evan Prodromou (evan@cosocial.ca)'s status on Monday, 18-Dec-2023 04:23:25 JST Evan Prodromou @anilmc so, a post by a Swede with no lived experience of the war is different from a report on the ground from a Palestinian under fire. Palestinians of the diaspora fall somewhere between.
