@kev Kev: well written and good thoughts here. My server came to the same conclusion a while back and are holding the same position now. Kudos for being a good admin and making your position clear for your followers. Here was my version of this that came to the same conclusion:

@fabiscafe @kev Might be good to move to a cooperative/democratic server if you want more of a say in server decisions. social.coop, for example.
@kev thanks. That's my point. I hate that this was decided over my head for me so i probably have to move to another instance. #blockiverse
@eloquence @kev That’s definitely my main concern, though I completely agree with Kev’s approach for now. What does the limit do?
I think one big argument is that Threads already allows accounts other instances would get limited or suspended over. So size basically gives them cover for bad moderation.
That's why I voted in favor of "limit" on our server, which is I think generally a good remedy against poorly moderated large servers.
@fabiscafe @kev ah, also a good option! Nice to have the know-how to have that option yourself, too.
@Brendanjones @kev Currently thinking about just doing my own again because I just cant find what I want to have :)
@Brendanjones limit basically means an account can only interact those that already follow it.
So if I limit userA, and userB already follows A, then B will still see A's posts. But userC won't know A exists as they didn't follow them when they were limited.
