@morotesovtannu I think u might like this one as well, its one of the most classical songs that we associate with winter (since well, the film is usually translated on new year!):ablobcatheart:
@Zyc This is a nice song. Is that film translated into Japanese...? I happen to be registered on Yandex.Plus by mistake, so I can see the Russian version on Kinopoisk, but unfortunately I don't understand Russian.
@morotesovtannu Hm i see. I don't know if it has the jp version sry. But i might look it for you, but i will not say anything about how good translation will be, though :ablobcatnervous:
@Zyc Thank you! Apparently it's not on any film streaming service or DVD, but the Mosfilm official uploaded it to Youtube with Japanese subtitles. I'll have a look at it!
@Zyc I watched it this morning! I don't usually watch many films other than Japanese films, but even I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing these wonderful films and songs with us!
@morotesovtannu I am really glad that you liked it. Since its new year soon i can share more USSR films that people usually watch in new year! To be honest i think the best russian films that i watched were USSR ones ( and i watched quite a bunch of them with my parrents). :ablobcatheart:
Also somewhat recently "Mayor Grom" was a very fun film as wel. A little bit cringy at times, but it was such a fresh air:ablobcatheart:
@morotesovtannu@Zyc if you curious about the author, he is still alive and even published whole documentary about the production of all these puppet films on his YouTube channel. It's awesome how complex and hard it takes to make such films, and how colleagues communicate with each other on lunch breaks.
@Zyc Yeah, I was just about to recommend this film to a Japanese friend of mine, but the version with Japanese subtitles was closed to the public. I was lucky enough to see it just in time. The new version had lost subtitles in all languages. Will they put them back on if I contact them?:gummythink: https://youtu.be/ZvWKYYeeHSU
