     @accretionist Exactly. LEDs are brighter and people carelessly drive high beam; and think that having brighter lights counters the other guy’s bright lights…manufacturers happy to sell them.

     Safety folks haven’t caught up with this.

     so what's the end game. we're all going to drive around blinding oncoming traffic? do car manufacturers notice or care?
