     there was a great 40 yard dash anecdote about Chicago Bears head coach Abe Gibron, from the Dick Butkis and Gale Sayers era.
     
     the dude was *wide* at the very least, and in earlier years when the team cut rookies during tryouts there was an option to first go head-to-head with former guard Abe (which ended poorly for them)
