     @JordiGH protomen act 2 makes it fairly explicit that Light was a techie who wanted to "make the world a better place" and was too naive to see how corporate exploitation would use his work to oppress people

     I don't think it was intended as a metaphor for FOSS but it works eerily well

     @technomancy Have you seen the Light Up The Night short? I repost it on occasion.

     I want a feature film like this.
