10 years ago I invested heavily in 802.11ac infra because I wanted the fastest Wi-Fi access possible so I wasn't reliant on cables for decent speed.
Now I'm like 'these APs only use 2 watts, and 802.11n with a 100Mb uplink port is basically fine; if I need more I'll cable up'
Priorities change, I guess
