   I bought my own modern when I had Comcast. They still tried to charge me for installation

     so tried another router testing(not a new modem just off their modem to another router), I had wifi issues reaching out in the living room with the stock comcast cable modem wifi.

     speeds are 100x faster aka 110mbps versus 1-3 off the comcast modem.

     just goes to show you the garbage equipment they give you.
