Huh, according to the C++ profiles group a “good developer” can author maybe 2000 lines of production code a year?
That seems like… it’s off by one or more orders of magnitude? It obviously depends on the project, but to say 2000 lines/year is “optimistic” doesn’t seem right. I occasionally see people check in as much in a single PR?
This “thought experiment” reads like a straw man to me. “According to this scenario I just made up, my work is better.“ What are any of these numbers based on?
