     @kravemir You could do that, yes. If those other people are on the local network, run it off of your local domain or one of the provided IP addresses and if you want others to access it, map a domain to your IP somehow (e.g., I’m using a wireguard VPN for my staging environment). It’s not the first use case and requires some tech knowledge but it’s definitely possible.

     @aral I see "Small Tech is peer to peer" in the about page.

     Am understanding correctly, that it can be used to make a web application, which is running on NAS in home with non-public IP provided by ISP, available to other people directly?

     I would love to use such a thing for private (login required) file and photo sharing web application.

     @kravemir (It’s peer to peer web in that it assumes everyone has a web node – the challenge is making the process of having that web node as simple as possible. So there isn’t a peer to peer replicated data structure if that’s what you were asking. For that, check out hypercore protocol or maybe even Syncthing.)
