I used to think blue Christmas lights were cool looking and now they remind me of Israel. I guess it makes sense why the decorations targeted at jews were always such a great bargain.

@GabeLakmann I don't know if it is, but the seed of uncertainty was planted in my head by anonymous internet racists who said it was what jews put up for Hanukkah, and now I can't look at my silver and blue decorations, originally bought when we had a huhwyte tree (it looked awesome decked out in ice themed stuff), without being reminded of da jooz.

Is that a thing? I've seen the blue lights but didn't know there was a meaning behind them.
If it is a thing then I'd tell them the blue actually means water as in "from the river to the sea" and is a pro Palestinian thing.

@GabeLakmann Thanks brother, but I'm over it. Never doing a huhwhite tree again because it's either a waste of a bunch of money on sprays for a real tree, an overpriced special real tree, or a fake one that fades after a few years from the sun and turns yellow.

We'll take those colors back from them if only so you can have your nice looking ice themed Christmas tree back!

It sure sounds like it would be pretty.
Now you got me thinking of ways to try and make a real one look like it has been snowed on.

@GabeLakmann There's a lot of ways. I think they used to use asbestos back in the day (extremely based).

@GabeLakmann I'm convinced that stuff isn't super horrible for you unless you're manhandling it all day and smoking cigs.
