   @cb All proposed pronunciations are canonically incorrect except for the last one, as Debian is a portmanteau of Deborah and Ian.

     how do you pronounce "Debian"? Specifically in a Midwestern United States accent
     
     I usually say "DEE-bee-in", accent on the first syllable. But I've also heard "duh-BEE-in" and "DEB-yun" or "DEB-eean" (like "Deb Ian")
