It's God's revenge against Mexicans: they get al pastor, they get suadero, they get carnitas, but then they have to deal with chili powder fruit concoctions.

  Stone's been producing this Baja-style lager called Buenaveza and it's pretty amazing. I've got a little scorpion pepper salt that I keep around and I put a little in the Buenaveza and it's amazing, you might actually weep.

The upside to it is, one of my wife's friends married a guy who buys lead-free American candies, unwraps them, coats them in chili powder, rewraps them, and sells them for a profit. One of their best sellers is a sour candy rolled in Tajin, a Mexican chili powder spice blend that's also used with beer. Disgusting, but they're rich now, so can't criticize too much.
