     Because it was real and we both followed each other.
     
     The lore goes back from people on a forum community called "the colors" or something. I wasn't on it but a bunch of people I used to follow were from that site.
     
     For the Forbes article Lauren Orsini followed me during a time I was reposting some 4chan posts. She had made this into a controversial article on Kotaku that got big hits. I believe I remember asking if everything was ok because of the haters and she said it was ok. I don't think she had wrote for any other major site at that time. So there was a chance my benign post lead to her getting bigger jobs and then writing about anime masturbators on Forbes. :backfromgab:

     I was also staff at invisionfree during the mid 2000s
     
     Vtuber Chisaka Airi has mentioned it before. But it's unknown if I had any noticable influence on anybody today from my time there. The official invisionfree forums were not much of a "community" forum as it was a support forum, outside of that there was that big Bionicle forum and a bunch of small forums. :back_from_gab:
