   I took the Eurostar over 23 years ago. It’s about time this country started catching up on high-speed rail transportation.

     @noondlyt @TonyStark Honestly, I believe that it’s been longer than that. All sorts of rail systems were dismantled with the spread of Ford powered buses and Eisenhower establishing the interstate system.

     @robertnorlyn @noondlyt Fortunately, there’s still a lot of infrastructure remaining that can be reclaimed and rehabilitated. It’s a worthwhile investment that with the right leadership, can expand all over the country.
