@grumpygamer I think if I had to generate random dungeons I’d use a fractal algorithm and change the fractal dimension between dungeons (and possibly within) to give them a different feel of complexity

But random dungeons are fun and interesting! My guess is the world maps are organic and the dungeons are meant to be artificial so they make more sense to our brains. Uncanny valley for maps. I need to do some rethinking.
