   @chris @pch they do build them like they used to. They're called Speed Queens. American made, sometimes they have specials and increase their warranties to 20 years!

     @pch Honestly, 13 does seem to bad these days. I'm on my 4th fridge in 9 years and I really don't expect any appliance to make it more than 10 anymore.

     New Washer coming today from LG. Our current one is making horrible noises. It's 13 yr old. Apparently that's how long they last now-a-days.

     Wish it'd last longer for both $ reasons and environmental reasons.
