     @patrickcmiller This seems like a good initiative, however, a recent Wired article points out that #bigtech companies still have a very firm grip on the infrastructure that supports #AI.

     Certainly IBM, Meta, and others stand to gain whether #AI becomes truly open or not. What other companies have the computing “horsepower” to run these giant engines?
