Someone was saying that musicians only do it for their audiences, rather than for the love of music. I thought “then why do so many famous musicians hate the songs that make them famous?” if they were all about pleasing their audiences, I could get a three hour concert with different interpretations of “Cars” or “1999” or “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” without all the less desirable songs that followed.
