@SuzyCreamcheese You know, until now, I was honestly under the impression that Manly P. Hall was a product of the 19th century. Looking up his wiki for this meme and finding out he died in 1990 is such a shock to me.

@allison He falls for a lot of memes from the 19th century. Just look at his sources you will find a lot of what was from with 19th century and early 20th century literature on these topic. So find people like Gerald "the gnostics definitely said horus and jesus are same dude" Massey along with names you may know better like Albert Pike and Madame Blavatsky. Then you see some more classical sources and chads like Thomas Taylor. Classical sources totally uncritically and also the kind of classical sources people of the 19th century and early 20th century liked, but like we don't take Athanasius Kircher's egyptology too seriously anymore for good reason. Then Hall talks all that and makes it even more batshit saying things like Plato predicted 1776

@allison Hall is a good writer and well-read (even if a lot of what he reads is BS). If you are smart enough to read critically I can recommend
