@thatbrickster @pernia something I noticed after Iraq War or so was that the UK government would police-visit people that made even veiled Jewish jokes online. But they would let complete monster imams preach violence out in the open. What I wonder is what changed? Was it that the sheer number now has started to shock people?

@pernia I support neither Hamas nor the Israeli government in their war efforts. Israel can defend itself and needs no money from foreign governments. Hamas has misspent EU tax money by using water piping as missile casings, for example, and boasting about it on social media in 2021. Let's not forget they hit first on October 7th and protests were out in force here before Israel responded in kind.
The losers are the civilians on both sides being used as human shields and manipulated by their respective governments' propaganda. If I had to say who's worse, it's Hamas. The British Left have fallen for it so hard they can't process the fact kidnappings actually happened and believe it was made up. They won't approach the victims' families though, neither will Palestinian journalists answer tough-to-swallow questions rarely asked on British media.
Is that what you meant?
