     @thatbrickster at my current pace of 15 minutes of Japanese, it takes 18 years before I'm intermediate.

     @kaia They say it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill, but this isn't about 'true fluency'. I wouldn't boast about it if I wasn't somewhat literate after six months.
