   @flavigula @draco Video conferencing stuff is particularly hard because it tends to be very optimized for voice communication, so has a bunch of stuff that interferes with both pitch and rhythm even if you get the audio into the system in the first place.

     Were you trying to share audio of music stuff on the video conference? I've always been at odds with my computer (rather, Jack audio) when I had to do the same, though I did find a solution when I was taking guitar lessons some years ago. I've probably forgotten now, however...

     The phrase "dumpster fire" makes me very happy. Computer audio problems, no, of course, but "dumpster fire"? I love it!
