FediTips has moved! (feditips@mstdn.social)'s status on Wednesday, 06-Dec-2023 01:17:57 JST FediTips has moved! No, there's no way to CW a boost because it might be misused to quote toot:

One suggested workaround is to have a CW reply to the thing you want to boost, and boost that reply.
Regarding videos specifically, they really ought to have their warning at the start of the video itself rather than just in the description. Videos that are embedded will not have a description, and warnings there will be missed.

MarkG (markgrieveson@mindly.social)'s status on Wednesday, 06-Dec-2023 01:17:58 JST MarkG Is there a way to add a content warning to a boost?
I found a 10 minute vlog on a PeerTube instance (it showed on Mastodon). I boosted it.
But, it did contain a scene that might upset some. I had wanted to put a content warning on the boost. But, I didn't see a way to do this. So, I unboosted it.
On the original PeerTube post, there was a content warning noted in the description. That did not show up in the Mastodon post. Is there a way to link CWs from PeerTube to Mastodon?
