Multi track devices are typically built to maintain the individual tracks, so they can always be isolated for mixing and re-mixing.(2/2)

And just like in magnetic media, there were a whole lot of shenanigans going on to get more out of the vinyl:

Red=signal carrier for Right channel
Green=Right channel grounding wire companion
White=Signal for Left channel
Black=Ground for Left channel(1/2)

Coop (c00p@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Tuesday, 05-Dec-2023 11:29:07 JST Coop @ringo I’m not sure.. I believe it needs to go through the 4 channel receiver. And you need a record that’s recorded with 4 discrete channels too, I think.
I have the record player on top of my bookshelf going through a line amp into a “sound bar “ just to listen to records..
I have the receiver, cassette player and reel to reel too but not currently hooked up.

it's using both RCA plugs. my previous TT was monophonic, the red was a dummy pin.
