Why The Communism Of Wikipedia Will Always Fail.
Wikipedia will fail and indeed, is failing because the entity, has been proven, untrustworthy. It cannot be trusted. That's why many people, looking for factual information are more willing to pay for it by using Britannica's premium services instead.
Sometimes, seemingly, free things have many hidden costs and often, one may get what one has paid for. Many times, in the form of, inferior services, facts and information. Just a thought.

@Rogue Runner I think that your statements are valid and I can find no fault with them. In fact, I rather like them.

@techriot Posting with Hubzilla @kuchinster - The real reason in my opinion, for removing the truth from these platforms, and censoring the truth from the internet in general, has a much more diabolical outcome which has to do with AI. Artificial intelligence is just that 'artificial', they threw in the word Intelligence and failed to ad the word Agency. AI is basically an input/output vector with gates and algorithms... so garbage in equals garbage out, and vice versa.
So AI is let loose to scrape the internet of the data/words it finds, and it does not know what good from bad information is. That has to be programmed into the software... so there lays the culprit, who is defining what is good or bad, and naughty and nice. If you feed nothing but lies and propaganda into the internet and remove the truth, or that which does not fit the narrative, the AI will only see that which is left to scrape and provide the output data.
Our dear leaders and overlords will see to it that you have a quarantined and homogenized internet for AI to work with. All in the name of protecting you from fake news and disinformation... as our world is slowly turned upside down (Lucifer would like it that way)... It gets much worse than that when you throw in Quantum Computing, IoT (Internet of Things - material), BoT (Body of Things - biological) but that would be TMI (too much info) for this reply.
