   The wife went to the post to check the mail, and I received a letter from our Communist overlords in Victoria that I'm to remit $219 to them as a driver penalty fee for having accumulated 4 points in one year. I was nailed at the end of February 2022 (month end drive for points for the rcmp), for talking on the phone, only the second ticket accrued in nearly 40 years of driving. And I'm now a statistically more dangerous driver. What the actual fuck? And my previous ticket was over 20 years ago.

     @GettingCooked I’m one infringement away from talking to a judge, because I got done doing 13 over in an intersection where I watch traffic instead of the speedo.

     @GettingCooked of course, I live in a police state where we only have 12 points, and the minimum infringement is 3 points.
