     @TechConnectify shared mute/blocklists are actually a great feature in Bluesky (before anyone replies, yes, like any other feature in social networks like for example posting and replying , they can be abused)

     @TechConnectify their favorite word is “clout” for some reason, because as we all know having a lot of followers on Mastodon makes you a all-powerful deity uberbeing and exploit masses to do thy bidding (I guess)

     @TechConnectify The HOS brigade has whole playbook.

     First, gatekeeping (“go back to Twitter”).

     Second, replies and subtoots implying moral failings (“clout chaser!”)

     Third, reporting to mods (“this account is commercial spam, just touting his YouTube channel”).

     I don’t know why exactly they’re doing it, possibly it’s related to the fact that they’re losers with no life and they want to feel powerful.

     @thomasfuchs you know, I like to think of myself as a pretty good egg. I would have hoped the way I use YouTube, the content I make, and the fact that I never shill for anything would throw off some good vibes here.
