     @hanna@social.platypus-sandbox.com to be fair, xmpp has its issues too. to me neither of them are better than the other (each of them are good in one way but bad in another way) and i prefer xmpp solely for the reason that its the one i'm more comfy with

     @kkarhan@mstdn.social @hanna@social.platypus-sandbox.com omemo can get super messy together with carbons tho. especially in group chats. it isn't rare for me that it can't fetch all keys of a contact in my roster

     @puniko @hanna also #XMPP + #OMEMO is extremely simple to use and setup and unlike all #centralized, #SingleVendor & #SingleProvider solutions it allows for #SelfCustody of #PrivateKeys, something that @signalapp nor anyone else offers...

     Remember: #notYourKeys = #NotYourData = #insecure! !
