as someone who spent most of his (albeit short) life as a skinnyfat kid, it's very refreshing to be muscular and shredded for once. it's nothing earth-shattering, but I don't feel dysmorphic about "still not being big enough" either as some lifters have warned me - I'm very satisfied with myself and genuinely feel great in my body now. "body positivity" can eat a bag of dicks

I guess the other takeaway is that having a shitty physique is not a predicament, you can definitely do something about it. sure, it took me years and required a lot of work and patience, but that also builds character... or something
