   George Santos is the inevitable product of a Republican Party that has spent years normalizing lying, misconduct, and unethical behavior.

   And still, “Speaker” Mike Johnson, Elise Stefanik, and more than 100 Republicans wanted him to remain today.

   At least he’s gone.

     I read a quote that I will paraphrase here - Santos is a clown but we could count on him to vote conservative.

     This is the level of competence the GOP currently has.
