It looks like Trump can be held civilly liable for inciting the insurrection at the Capitol, according to a ruling by the D.C. Court of Appeals out today. We may yet get to see a jury hand down a verdict on whether Trump is responsible for inciting the chaos that day.

  @georgetakei I just checked with someone about this. As long as it is added into evidence, it can be added to Jack Smith's investigation, too.
