     @CloudyMrs there’s usually a slot to hold the widget in the battery compartment. Give it a try - what have you got to lose?

     @CloudyMrs Oh, that's unusual. Any I've used have had a slot beside the battery hatch. Although, TBH, on a couple of mice they weren't particularly obvious.
