   Kissinger's PhD thesis was on Metternich and the post-Napoleonic Congress of Vienna and how it balanced European states against each other to create a stable world order. He was a competent nigga and an impressive guy, the fools currently running things have managed to alienate the entire Middle East and drive China/Russia together into forming BRICS as a rival geopolitical power bloc. He also resembled Penguin from the Batman films. RIP in Hell Henry

     the guys running the show now, if that's what they're doing, can only conceive of a "good" outcome based on some moral calculus.

     But it's a very short sighted calculus which can only look backwards.

     It's weird. So often we've had rogue CIA guys going around destabilizing...for a reason. These guys have no rhyme or reason.

     Bring back the neocons. At least they have a fucking policy.

     @SAUNDERS my favorite youtube channel as of late is Judge Napolitano's Judging Freedom and he has a regular panel of these old crotchety ex-CIA guys from a faction called VIPS who are basically enemies of the neocons who left during the wars on terror, and all of them are just constantly calling for the agency to be shut down and/or rolled into the pentagon based on the fact that gathering intel and collapsing govs are two totally completely different remits
